Many, many mothers, especially those in occupied territory, were in a committed relationship with a German soldier. These mothers often went to a facility to give birth in private and receive the top quality care given to mothers and children involved in the project.

Did their mother volunteer to have a child?
Especially common in Germany, but also found elsewhere, in a different form. Where as in Germany, woman volunteered for the good of the Reich and for the benefits associated with bearing children, such as money and awards, where as those in foreign countries, particularly Norway, which was the main focus of the program, woman were bribed.

Was the mother a prisoner?
In some camps, blonde haired blue eyed woman were forced to bear children for the program. These children were then taken away to be raised in a facility, much like the pups of Jesse and Bluebell in Animal Farm were taken away by Napoleon.

Many children were kidnapped from their families in German occupied territory, mainly Poland, to be raised as part of Hitler's race of superior beings.
